Dr. Ernesto Sirolli is a distinguished leader in community development and sustainable growth. Beginning his career in 1971, he has pioneered transformative strategies that include the Enterprise Facilitation® model and the Trinity of Management®. These innovations have revolutionized economic development by leveraging the inherent passion and creativity within communities. He founded the Sirolli Institute, a 27-year-old social enterprise that operates globally, championing the principles of Enterprise Facilitation and responsive engagement.
Holding a degree in Political Sciences from the University of Rome and a PhD in Philosophy and Sustainable Development from Murdoch University, Dr. Sirolli is an adjunct professor at Curtin University’s Sustainability Policy Institute (CUSP). He also serves as a trusted advisor to the World Indigenous Business Forum and holds the position of Chief Innovation Officer for Cross-ING Engineering in Switzerland. His academic and advisory roles complement his hands-on approach to fostering economic growth and community empowerment.
An accomplished author, Dr. Sirolli has written influential works including “Ripples from the Zambezi” and “How to Start a Business and Ignite Your Life,” with a third book underway. His TEDx talk, “If You Really Want to Help Someone – Shut Up and Listen,” has been translated into 35 languages and downloaded over four million times, underscoring his global impact. Through his leadership, Sirolli-trained facilitators have assisted in creating over 55,000 jobs across more than 400 communities, demonstrating his belief that there is no limit to where passion and intelligence can lead.
